and another one dropped soon after the first. Took a few hundred runs earlier this year to get Vipermagi. Honestly, the longest and hardest part was getting geared up to be able to do AT easily. It took some burning the candle at both ends, but I managed to squeeze a little time in. I have kids, a house, a dozen work related projects sucking a lot of time out of my life, but the increased drop rate has been noticeable. A few weeks before that, I found a Sur rune in LK. The week prior, I found Um, a few Hels, and an Ist. You just need to be active and Hell capable to find them. They upped rune drop rates significantly in 1.13c. Rushing people for in game trades will be a thing again.īut I end up trading up to enigma in ladder, at least in the old days when in game trading was still rather active Unless the bots swoop in and high runes are a nickel in 30 days, farming nightmare will be worthwhile for a longer time frame. Drops that are otherwise valueless on current bnet are going to actually be worth trading for an extended period of time. I look forward to a uniquely fresh economy in d2r that hopefully doesn't have a bunch of bots flooding the market. Jumping in to old school d2 its just bot run games mostly. I have never found the runes naturally before myself, but I end up trading up to enigma in ladder, at least in the old days when in game trading was still rather active. This sub shows tons of high rune drops and talk about jahs and bers and it makes it seem like you can just go bust them out quickly, but the reality is unless you have stupid dumb luck or know what is valuable and how to trade it you will never see an enigma in potentially thousands upon thousands of hours. This game will chew you up and spit you out if you aren't prepared for the grind. Gotta learn to trade and mf very well if you want enigma anytime soon.
